Peter Meechan

Peter is the Chief Corporate Development Officer at Automation Anywhere, the global leader in robotic process automation, and Executive Partner at $3.3B private equity firm Calera Capital. Peter's global operating experience spans being a public corporation senior executive, start-up CEO, venture capital and private equity advisor, and board member. Previously, he was COO of ABBYY, a 1,250+ person company pioneering intelligent content capture and cognitive computing. Passionately focused on exceptional innovation, Peter has made notable contributions in deploying Adobe Flash® on more than a billion mobile devices, to Academy Award® winning software applications, to digital home foundational inventions, and to four exits. Roles at multi-billion dollar corporations Macromedia/Adobe, SONY, and Intellectual Ventures include SVP, mobile and devices, and multiple business unit VP/GM roles.

Peter has served on boards in the U.S., Japan, and China including UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland Foundation, and the University of Oregon College of Design. He attended Waseda University in Tokyo and is a graduate of the University of Oregon.
