John Moellering

 

John Moellering is a technical engineering executive with experience bringing successful Software and SaaS products to market.  His 17 years in the high tech markets includes experience in general management, product management, product strategy, operations, and engineering execution.  He has worked in markets including Cloud, SaaS, Unified Communications, Enterprise Applications, Enterprise Video, Broadcast Video, Routing and Switching, and Service.

John has lead product management teams in building new products like the Cisco TelePresence multi-point switch, the first of its kind soft switch for HD video which won the Cisco Pioneer Award and was named as part of the solution in the US News and World Reports product of the year for 2006.

John has also been part of the leadership team creating multiple SaaS products including encoding products, TelePresence as a Service, and Network Function Virtualization control plane software.

He holds masters in Operations Research and Engineering Economics from Stanford University and taught Operations Research and Engineering Management at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

John also has extensive leadership experience and served as a US Army officer for 13 years including a combat tour in Somalia.  He also holds a BS with a field of study in Chemistry from the United States Military Academy.
