Eric Woo

Eric has been in the VC industry since 2009. Eric was most recently at Top Tier Capital where he was a member of the fund Investment Team with special focus on the Firm's alpha manager program (which targets fund sizes less than $250 million).

Prior to joining Top Tier, Eric was the founder of Trigo Ventures and a principal at Northgate Capital leading the "emerging manager" platform, which invested primarily in seed and micro VC funds. During his tenure at Northgate, nearly $50 million was deployed to the strategy, which included fund and direct company investments. Before that, he was head of search marketing at AccountNow, Inc. Eric began his career as part of the research team for VentureSource, a division of Dow Jones.

When not diligently focusing on investment activities, this Bay Area native can be found on the golf course perfecting his swing. Eric graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. He became a Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder in 2004.
