Devika Chawla

Devika is an Engineering leader who has built revenue generating and consumer facing products at scale. Devika is currently a Director of Engineering at Netflix, where she leads the Messaging and Customer Contact Engineering teams. At Netflix, her teams communicate with hundreds of millions of users globally through a variety of channels to drive acquisition and retention.

Prior to Netflix, Devika was with Yahoo, where she led the Sponsored Search Serving Platforms that drove an annual revenue stream in excess of one billion dollars. She started her career at Inktomi (which was acquired by Yahoo), where her teams built the company’s first web search monetization platform and product. 

Devika majored in Computer Science and Mathematics at Georgetown University.
